Unfortunately, by default, nopCommerce does not provide tracking codes. However, you can easily add a shipping code to facilitate your customers’ experience by allowing them to directly access Canada Post tracking information.
Once the order shipping status is set to “shipment sent”, a Customer Notification email is sent by the nopCommerce Platform. The following steps allow you to easily edit the email template:
Quick and easy steps, lets get started and add shipping tracking number code
Go to Message Templates Copy and paste the following to the message body:Tracking number: %Shipment.TrackingNumber%
Select the following
Click on Insert/Edit link button
Enter the Canada Post tracking number in the URL field as displayed Once updated, simply click OK and save the template.
You are set to go!
